Bookish Haven Events is the brainchild of a group of friends who wanted to share their love of all things bookish with friends who have the same passion.  Trev, who is ever the instigator, launched the Facebook group which quickly amassed hundreds of like-minded book friends and now we give you a safe haven to relax and delve into your favourite literary worlds in some of the most beautiful places across the world!  The group is currently admin-ed by Dav & Lou who are also two of the other worker bees behind Bookish Haven Events.  This whole journey is literally fuelled by love, books and friendship and we choose to share this with you, Our Beautiful Book Friends,

 

As busy mums, business owners, book editors and world keepy uppers, we just needed a break while we indulged in our literary worlds undisturbed (well unless we choose to be).  This birthed the idea for a retreat where we could just be our book-loving selves.  Then that blossomed into having these beautiful events across the many beautiful but often forgotten places of the world we live in.  Show of hands who wants to read their favourite alien romance while soaking up the sun in beautiful Hawaii, or Bali?

 

We knew we wanted to explore the world with our books and after some discussion, we give you Scotland the first of many beautiful places we will visit.
